The Lady or the Tiger: Now You're the Author!
1) Students will get into small groups of three or four.
2) Each student will take a turn reading a paragraph or two of the story.
3) After the story has been read, teacher will ask the students who they side with more the lady, the tiger, or neither and why.
4) Students will be asked to use which character (or no character at all) and write the ending of the story.
5) Students will volunteer to share their endings.
6) Concluding, group discussion over the importance of an open - ended finish to a story/reactions to the activity.
7) Show a student video based on the ending of the story
